I get my car detailed here all the time. The staff and their work is amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The price board clearly showed SUVs and trucks for $35, yet both times I went in, the owner (not the Arab gentleman) charged me $45. It felt like they were constantly looking for ways to upsell or charge more than the advertised price. What really bothered me was watching a woman come in for a car wash, only to have the manager/owner ask her, in front of several customers, “Are you not planning on leaving a tip?” Putting customers on the spot like that is unprofessional and uncomfortable. Tips should be appreciated, not expected. Advertised prices should match what customers are charged. If a service costs more than what’s posted, update the signs instead of surprising people at checkout. Honesty, transparency, and respect for customers go a long way. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I won’t be returning.

This was my first experience with Detroit Detail Express and I couldn’t be happier. Sirmearez and Chris worked on the detailing and did a fabulous job! The owner, Hussan set up my appointment and was very professional. Ashton and Charles at the front were super polite. My car looks better than it did when I got it off the lot! A+ Customer Service. I will definitely be back!

SAVE YOUR MONEY - THEY WON’T PROPERLY CLEAN YOUR CAR!! Ever since they changed management, they are so UNPROFESSIONAL!! They charge $27! $27! I tried to give this car wash a chance twice. On both occasions my car was LEFT DIRTY. This last time not only did they leave literal dirty spots on my car hood,, grill, tires and streaks on my window, the tall slender kid had audacity to act like I was saying too much when I pointed out the dirt left on the outside and inside my car. There was a guy with a mustache too, who also was acting like me pointing out the dirt on my car was a problem. The owner is the worst. He gets on the phone and tells me that he can’t even take off two dollars over the phone for the inconvenience of them leaving my car dirty and making me late for church cause I had to get them to fix the dirty parts still left on my car. The worst offense was they charge me an extra two dollars to put Armor All on my tires and that they only put it on thee-quarters and left a quarter of the tire unpolished!! with I will never go back to this farce of a car was again if you want your car clean, DON’T GO HERE!!

Update the place is still awesome, but now the waiting room is better and the detail wash I got was like a miracle happened to my car! This place is awesome! They do a great job, you don't have to worry about the robo wash scratching your finish. The owner and the employees were all very nice and they got it done on time. The SUV is sparkling clean inside and out, and I even got a discount for Tuesdays lady's day! You should check this place out for yourself!
